Sonatine
for piano op.3 (1982)
The Sonatine, written in 1982 and revised in 1993, has four movements:
- Toccata I
- Tango
- Nocturne
- Toccata II
The opening and closing Toccatas are in a rather burlesque mood and share the same thematic material. Between them, there is a syncopated Tango and a deliberately monotonous, Satian Nocturne.
